• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities for cost accounting and inventory valuation • Oversee standard costing, job-costing, and labor and overhead rate development across manufacturing programs • Perform profitability, variance, and margin analysis by product line, contract, and business unit • Ensure accounting and estimating processes comply with DCAA, FAR, DFARS, and ITAR regulations • Govern accounting for raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods inventory • Design and enforce cycle count programs, physical inventory procedures, and reconciliations • Manage inventory pegging, material traceability, and Customer Furnished Material tracking in Infor LN • Monitor excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory and establish reserves and mitigation strategies • Serve as functional SME for Costing, Warehousing, and Manufacturing modules in Infor LN • Synchronize Inventory Control, Shop Floor Management, and the General Ledger • Drive Infor LN system improvements, data governance, and process automation • Build, mentor, and lead cost accountants and inventory control specialists • Establish, monitor, and report KPIs for inventory accuracy and COGS • Maintain internal controls, SOX compliance, and audit support
• Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI DoD security clearance • U.S. Citizenship required • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Strong understanding of Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) • Excellent cross-functional leadership capabilities • Proven ability to manage direct reports • Ability to distill complex findings and concepts into key data points and visualizations • Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Supply Chain Management • 10+ years of progressive cost and inventory accounting experience • 5+ years in a management or leadership role • Aerospace and Defense manufacturing background strongly preferred • Experience with engineer-to-order and government contracting is a major plus • Deep hands-on expertise with Infor LN Procurement, Inventory, Manufacturing, and Financial modules strongly preferred • Regular and reliable attendance on a full-time basis or according to posted schedule • Ability to sit and use computers and office equipment
