📋 Description

• Support and demonstrate IMA’s core values • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion among IMA associates • Interact professionally and timely with clients via email, phone, and in-person • Manage regional financial strategy team leads, including expectations, timelines, progress updates, and performance evaluations • Coordinate workload, project assignments, and staffing plans for analysts and clients • Provide feedback supporting service team members’ professional development and client expectations • Participate in hiring direct reports and additional department employees • Lead national financial strategy servicing meetings, training curriculum planning, and communications • Identify and implement quality standards, best practices, and peer review standards • Improve financial strategy service offerings and implement service improvement initiatives • Mentor financial strategists and support associate growth and local expertise development • Collaborate with market leaders and national leadership to ensure work quality • Implement innovative products and services alongside existing financial strategy processes • Peer review and mentor a national book of complex self-funded, level-funded, and fully insured clients • Develop and deliver servicing standards covering benchmarking, financial analysis, underwriting projections, contribution analysis, self-funded decision support, and IBNR • Analyze BOB trends and prospect/client needs, summarizing data for national leadership and strategic partners • Support marketing template updates, RFP submissions, data collection and management, and complex marketing reviews • Execute financial analysis of fully insured, TPA, stop loss, and PBM offerings • Negotiate with national carrier partners • Build key carrier and vendor relationships • Determine communication strategies for presenting financial strategy to diverse clients • Champion new initiatives and growth opportunities to national and market leadership

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of similar or related experience • Prefer college graduate, 4-year degree or equivalent experience • Proficient with MS Office Suites, with in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel • Managerial or leadership experience • Attains Life and Health license and maintains it through continuing education requirements • Some travel required (once monthly) • Responsibility for executing the benefit division’s strategic direction of analytic solutions and tools • Strong analytical (quantitative and qualitative) abilities • Ability to identify modifications to existing methodologies and implement new initiatives • Ability to manage and mentor experienced professionals • Responsibility for accuracy of analysis and peer review best practices • Ability to perform well under pressure, on multiple work streams, and with tight deadlines • Advanced communication and presentation skills • Management/Leadership • Financial Acumen • Self-Direction • Professionalism • Agility/Flexibility • Problem Solving
