📋 Description

• Lead finance strategy and operations as a member of the executive team • Engage regularly with the Board of Directors • Own financial planning, strategy, capital and investor relations, budget management, A/P, A/R, and day-to-day financial operations • Partner with executive leadership on company strategy, resource allocation, and long-term financial direction • Manage and refine the financial model, planning, and forecasting • Lead fundraising, investor relations, financial modeling, and due diligence coordination • Oversee external accounting, tax, and advisory firms • Manage tax filings, payments, compliance, and planning across jurisdictions • Collaborate with department heads on budgets • Prepare financial reporting packages for boards, investors, and banking partners, including quarterly reporting • Serve as the primary financial contact for investors, banking partners, and the Board • Oversee accounts payable, vendor payments, accounts receivable, collections, invoicing, and billing inquiries • Reconcile bookings data across CRM and billing systems • Administer expense and T&E programs, credit card limits, positive pay monitoring, and expense approvals • Consult with sales and CS leadership on pricing, margin, and value • Complete month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, cash management, and G/L analysis • Lead evaluation, implementation, and management of financial systems and software • Build and lead the finance and accounting function, including hiring, developing, and managing team members • Identify and manage financial and operational risk, insurance, compliance, and internal controls

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field • 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience • At least 5 years in a senior finance leadership role such as VP of Finance, Controller, or CFO • Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulations • Proficiency in financial software and tools, including revenue management, bookkeeping software, and CRM • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial reporting and analysis • Experience leading fundraising, investor relations, or working directly with a Board of Directors • Demonstrated experience building and leading a finance team • MBA, CPA, or other relevant certification strongly preferred
