📋 Description

• Break down larger projects into individual tasks and deliver them in multiple phases • Collaborate with teammates to ensure timely delivery • Collaborate with product management, design and analytics during ideation and product development • Articulate technical constraints and partner on risk and trade-off decisions • Create and monitor metrics for team artifacts • Escalate operational issues and support availability and on-call efforts • Participate in growth and development activities, including interviews • Identify and execute new data infrastructure use cases • Design and scale streaming and event-driven infrastructure • Work with other teams to optimize company-wide data use

🎯 Requirements

• 1.5+ years of experience as a software engineer • Experience designing, developing and launching backend systems • Proficiency in Python or Kotlin • Familiarity with distributed systems • Familiarity with AWS, Kafka, Flink and Kubernetes • Ability to design solutions interacting with multiple software components • Clear, well-tested and extensible coding skills • Ability to navigate large code bases and debug others' code • Experience providing code review feedback • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Equivalent practical experience or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field
