📋 Description

• Break down larger projects into individual tasks and deliver them in multiple phases • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery • Collaborate with product management, design and analytics during ideation and decision-making • Articulate technical constraints and assess risks and trade-offs • Create and monitor metrics for team artifacts • Escalate operational issues and support keep-the-lights-on and on-call efforts • Participate in growth and development activities, including interviews • Identify and execute new data infrastructure use cases • Design and scale streaming infrastructure • Promote optimal use of data across the company

🎯 Requirements

• 1.5+ years of experience as a software engineer • Experience designing, developing and launching backend systems • Proficiency in Python or Kotlin • Familiarity with distributed systems • Familiarity with AWS, Kafka, Flink and Kubernetes • Ability to design solutions interacting with multiple software components • Ability to write clear, well-tested and extensible code • Comfort navigating large code bases and debugging others' code • Experience providing feedback through code reviews • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Equivalent practical experience or a Bachelor's degree in a related field
