📋 Description

• Manage operations, priorities, staffing, and delivery execution for an assigned software R&D team • Provide direct people leadership, coaching, performance management, and career development • Partner with product management, product ownership, architecture, quality, SRE, support, IT, marketing, and other stakeholders • Lead development and delivery of SaaS applications, analytics, monitoring, data pipelines, integrations, and enterprise software capabilities • Support new product development and sustaining engineering for deployed enterprise software products and services • Participate in production incident triage and follow-up • Establish operating practices that improve planning discipline, execution predictability, quality, communication, and coordination • Identify and mitigate delivery risks, technical issues, dependency gaps, and resource constraints • Conduct and collaborate on research, development, and technical evaluation activities • Support technical decisions involving cloud-native architectures, data-centric systems, APIs, enterprise integrations, observability, cybersecurity, and operational readiness • Drive agile planning, prioritization, backlog alignment, and coordination across globally distributed teams • Build a culture focused on accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, engineering excellence, and customer impact

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and directly relevant experience • Minimum of 2 years of experience formally or informally leading people, projects, programs, or technical delivery teams • Experience leading software development or technical delivery in SaaS, enterprise applications, analytics, monitoring, data platforms, laboratory informatics, or related digital product environments • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle practices, agile delivery, release planning, sustaining support, and cross-functional product development • Ability to manage priorities, resolve ambiguity, develop people, and maintain execution focus in a globally distributed team environment • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with technical and non-technical audiences • Preferred: experience in life sciences, laboratory informatics, scientific instruments, services, or regulated enterprise environments • Preferred: experience with CrossLab Connect or similar lab operations, asset management, service management, monitoring, analytics, or customer-facing digital platforms • Preferred: experience supporting enterprise or B2B cloud platforms, including SaaS, data/analytics, monitoring, or integration systems • Preferred: familiarity with data-centric architectures, batch or streaming data pipelines, data models, and integration patterns • Preferred: familiarity with cloud-native architectures, microservices, APIs, web applications, containerization, CI/CD, and DevOps practices • Preferred: experience supporting new product development and sustaining activities for deployed enterprise software products • Preferred: familiarity with AI/ML concepts, predictive analytics, IoT/edge systems, telemetry ingestion, digital twins, or data-driven laboratory operations • Preferred: experience with agile development methodologies, distributed team collaboration, and cross-functional planning
