📋 Description

• Collaborate with the Debt Capital Markets Leader on underwriting activities for a buy-side debt portfolio • Perform business and economic analyses, financial analysis and modeling, and business valuations • Process loan applications and prepare credit reports and loan legal documentation • Prepare and present credit packages to Relationship Managers and committees • Develop credit information for new loans, renewals, loan servicing, and restructuring actions • Co-sponsor credit recommendations with Relationship Managers • Review credit and financial information, analyze financial statements and forecasts, and assess creditworthiness • Prepare complete credit packages for loan committee review and decisioning • Perform credit administration and account servicing using Salesforce and nCino • Monitor assigned portfolios and conduct ongoing financial reviews • Keep Relationship Managers informed of financial trends and compliance • Review credit agreements and loan and participation documents • Respond to internal and external account requests • Maintain collaborative relationships with deal teams and cross-functional departments • Maintain expertise in assigned market segments and industry trends • Train and develop Association staff and review others’ work as assigned • Attend lender meetings and industry events as necessary • Work on other assigned projects and initiatives • Make independent decisions under the general direction of the Debt Capital Markets Leader

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field is preferred • 7 years of prior experience in credit/financial analysis work • Familiarity with accounting principles, banking policies, procedures, and processes • Demonstrated skills in cash flow, balance sheet, profitability, liquidity, and solvency analysis • General knowledge of agriculture and/or agribusiness is preferred • Demonstrated analytical and statistical skills to evaluate, prioritize, and categorize data in various formats • Working knowledge of Excel or similar spreadsheet and analytical software • Proficiency in organizing and prioritizing work to meet deadlines • Knowledge of FCA regulations, association, and district policies and procedures • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Strong persuasive and interpersonal skills • Proficiency using a PC, including word processing, email, and electronic spreadsheet software • Ability to perform basic office tasks and work in a typical office setting • Ability to work during established business hours, with occasional weekend and/or evening work • Ability to travel as required • Eligibility to work in the United States; visa sponsorship or transfer unavailable • Ability to lift and move items up to 25 pounds
