📋 Description

• Support the Railroad Commission of Texas on the Mainframe Reports and Extract effort • Perform advanced business analysis for complex, emerging technology hardware and software projects • Gather and document business requirements using multiple elicitation methods • Review, assess, and develop business processes for reporting and data initiatives • Perform data analysis and root cause analysis of data errors • Create and maintain data flow documentation for interrelated reporting projects • Support report development using Power BI and Snowflake • Coordinate data publishing on the DIR Open Data Portal or the RRC website • Create and validate user acceptance testing • Support training and implementation activities • Work with business area personnel to design technical solutions meeting business requirements • Provide research and special project support to users • Ensure deliverables follow established processes, consistent quality standards, and accepted business analysis methodologies • Assign and supervise the work of others as needed

🎯 Requirements

• 8 years of strong interpersonal, collaborative, analytical, written, verbal, and presentation communication skills in English • 8 years of experience gathering requirements and creating reports • 8 years of experience facilitating the creation and analysis of business requirements and working with business area personnel to design technical solutions • 5 years of experience participating in and providing guidance to the business in developing and completing user acceptance testing, training, and implementation-related activities • 2 years of experience with Snowflake and Power BI • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. • Candidates who currently reside in Texas are preferred • 2 years of experience in the oil and gas industry preferred
