📋 Description

• Evaluate clinical compliance and quality across clinical operations • Oversee and coordinate local orientation for clinical crew members • Develop and oversee recurrent continuing education training • Develop scenario and clinical content for new hires and recurrent clinical teammates • Mentor clinicians placed on clinical education plans • Coordinate accreditation and reaccreditation activities • Participate in air medical research • Lead new employee orientation, including schedules, base assignments, and area-specific protocol development • Collaborate with RCEM and RCD on clinical preceptorship and regional education resources • Teach in simulation labs, invasive labs, and advanced learning technology programs • Lead content development and continuing education initiatives • Develop educational programming, policies, procedures, and simulation scenarios • Evaluate clinical performance using evidence-based assessment frameworks and statistical analysis • Assess regional educational requirements • Lead annual competency training, protocol testing, and initial training for new equipment and procedures • Assist with medical standards and guideline development • Serve as a clinical expert and participate in committees and workgroups

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN); and five or more years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience • 4+ years of flight experience required • 2+ years as an educator or instructor • Flight Nurse or Flight Paramedic specialty certification (CAMTS compliant) required • CFRN or FP-C certification required • Minimum 1 current instructor card (e.g., BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, PHTLS, ITLS, TNCC, TNATC) • Obtain instructor status for all AHA-required courses (BLS, ACLS, PALS) within 3 months of hire • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong interpersonal skills and collaboration abilities • Experience in high-fidelity simulation preferred • Clinical expertise in one or more specialty areas • Ability to participate in and rotate administrator on call for specialty equipment and high-risk patient populations • Proficient with Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook • Proficient in Smartsheet or other SaaS • Regular scheduled attendance • Ability to travel up to 75%, including some Saturdays
