📋 Description

• Review global incident notifications and determine response strategies based on threat severity and business impact • Conduct proactive research to monitor global threats and events affecting Airbnb stakeholders • Use internal tools to inform internal and external communities as needed • Draft and coordinate preparedness and response messaging for external and internal audiences • Make critical business decisions considering tradeoffs and potential benefits • Coordinate disaster response with cross-functional teams • Serve as the point of contact for the GCM Disaster Response team’s responsibilities and actions • Provide situation reports and critical updates to stakeholders • Participate in product and process improvement efforts • Collaborate with the operations manager to develop improvement recommendations • Perform other assigned duties

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in global disaster response, threat monitoring and assessment, intelligence analysis, or a related field • Experience monitoring, assessing, and responding to global threats, disasters, and crises • Excellent written and verbal communication • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures • High dependability and ability to meet schedule expectations in a fast-paced environment • Availability to travel occasionally as required • Availability to work Tuesday-Saturday, 8am-5pm Pacific Time • May be required to work company and national holidays and occasional unexpected hours • Must live in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity
