📋 Description

• Develop program scope and objectives, collaborate with relevant stakeholders, ensure technical feasibility, and drive projects end-to-end • Align staffing, priorities, and technical dependencies within Hosting and cross-functional teams including Trust, Payments, Infra, and Product • Manage quarterly planning and ongoing risk escalation/mitigation • Manage the Technical Design diligence process for large programs • Track technical dependencies, schedule reviews and pre-reviews, engage stakeholders, and manage meeting quality and efficiency • Communicate key decisions, status, and risks to leadership and across teams • Drive accountability and timeline management • Identify process improvements and new ways of operating, focusing on simplification and productivity • Drive organization-wide and company-wide technical initiatives as the technical stack evolves • Provide visibility into key performance indicators, risks, and opportunities • Partner with the Payments organization to support technology offerings for moving money across Airbnb’s global marketplace • Support and grow a world-class team of Technical Program Managers

🎯 Requirements

• Experience developing processes where few exist, with flexibility to get things done • Ability to work through ambiguity to detailed solutions and drive initiatives to completion • Good understanding of software engineering principles • Proven ability to work in a distributed architecture environment • Ability to adapt and work with teams having different operating cadences • Detail-oriented technical problem-solving and prioritization abilities • Experience in highly cross-functional environments • Ability to ramp up quickly and learn new technologies • Excellent written and oral business communication and people skills • Ability to influence stakeholders • Knowledge of Jira or equivalent task management tooling • BA/BS degree • 7+ years of experience in the software development industry • Must live in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity
