📋 Description

• Lead the Technical Project & Product Management team as a player-coach • Serve as the connective tissue between client needs, delivery execution, and team development • Carry a portion of billable client work as a practicing Technical Program Manager, anticipated at 70% billable • Report to and work closely with the Head of Product and Project Management Operations • Support discovery sessions with clients and internal stakeholders • Define requirements, write scope-protecting assumptions, translate needs into actionable scopes of work, and develop SOWs • Manage and develop a small team of Technical Project Managers • Run team meetings, set performance expectations, support career development, and build team capabilities • Deliver active client engagements and manage client expectations • Build and maintain documentation, templates, job aids, and onboarding materials • Collaborate with PMs, engineering leads, business operations strategy, and client partners • Align delivery approaches, flag risks early, and resolve cross-functional personnel and process issues • Participate in hiring future technical delivery roles • Own onboarding for new team members • Monitor team capacity and velocity to promote predictable delivery • Manage product backlogs, prioritization, refinement, and scope/timeline/budget trade-offs • Track engagement budgets, identify scope creep, and surface financial risks to leadership

🎯 Requirements

• Experience leading delivery in a consultancy or agency context • Experience leading multiple client engagements concurrently • Experience scoping billable work and managing client expectations • Experience managing the financial performance of client engagements, including tracking budget burn against actuals and identifying scope creep • Platform and SaaS delivery experience, including website builds, migrations, feature development, and implementations on Adobe Experience Cloud, Salesforce, or comparable enterprise SaaS platforms • Ability to facilitate client discovery sessions and define requirements • Ability to translate business and technical requirements into functional specifications and user stories with acceptance criteria • Experience owning and managing product backlogs, including prioritization, refinement, and trade-off decisions • Traditional and technical project management background • Experience monitoring team capacity and velocity • Experience writing or contributing to client-facing scopes of work • People leadership or practitioner mentoring experience in a delivery context • 6+ years of relevant experience in product ownership, delivery management, or a comparable role • At least 2 years of experience in a client-facing consultancy environment • Current US or Canada work authorization • No relocation assistance is offered
