📋 Description

• Own the integrated program plan across active credit and lending workstreams, including milestones, dependencies, and critical paths • Manage sequencing, resourcing tradeoffs, and escalations • Ensure Compliance, Treasury, and Operations readiness aligns with product and regulatory milestones • Drive incident learnings into design, test coverage, and runbooks • Contribute to the proposed Mercury Bank, N.A. technical program and collaborate with other TPMs • Maintain a single source of truth for status, decisions, risks, and owners, including a living RAID log • Facilitate structured decision-making by surfacing options and tradeoffs to leaders • Build and improve planning cycles, reviews, decision frameworks, and launch-readiness processes • Produce concise updates and synthesize cross-functional information into executive recommendations • Document program objectives, architecture decisions, and operational impacts • Serve as a trusted thought partner to engineering leads, product managers, and senior leadership • Eliminate inefficiencies through automation, AI tooling, or process redesign • Lead technical retrospectives and post-mortems and systematize learnings

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of program management or technical program management in a high-growth or regulated environment • Direct experience in financial services, fintech, or credit infrastructure • Familiarity with compliance, audit, reporting, and risk management obligations • Experience operating at department or business level, owning programs with multiple concurrent workstreams and cross-functional accountability • Proven ability to communicate with and influence executive stakeholders in writing and high-stakes meetings • Familiarity with lending tooling ecosystems such as loan origination, credit risk management, and lending management systems is a bonus • Product-first approach • Experience using AI tools and building workflows or tooling that improve team operations • Comfort working in ambiguity • Systems thinking, including understanding dependencies, second-order effects, and points of failure • Technical fluency to understand and challenge engineering decisions and identify technical risks • Exceptional written and verbal communication • Understanding of the financial dynamics of a lending business • High emotional intelligence • Commitment to diversity and belonging
