📋 Description

• Support legal and business teams with commercial and strategic transactions in North America, including aircraft sales and finance, services, and procurement • Coordinate communication between relevant business units for commercial and strategic transactions • Draft and negotiate contracts supporting sales, finance, and procurement of products and services • Manage cross-functional and cross-jurisdictional relationships among Airbus commercial and legal teams • Provide legal support to sales, contracts, customer services, engineering, manufacturing, finance, procurement, litigation, HR, government relations, safety, quality, information management, R&T, strategy, and communications • Support all North American sites and Airbus affiliates in North America • Protect Airbus’s contractual position, identify risk factors, and ensure adherence to company policy and applicable laws and regulations • Develop strategies to mitigate Airbus’s exposure to risk • Coordinate with the North American Ethics & Compliance team and support Ethics & Compliance policies and initiatives • Provide guidance in coordination with the global Legal & Compliance team

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an internationally recognized law firm and/or relevant in-house positions • Admitted to the Bar and in good standing with a license to practice law in at least one U.S. State • Authorized to work in the United States • Strong corporate and transactional experience • Significant knowledge of the aerospace industry • Significant experience with finance and commercial transactions • Strong analytical skills and project management skills • Ability to manage multiple complex projects and competing priorities and deadlines • Experience working internationally or in a multi-cultural environment strongly preferred • Fluency in English required • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Gsuite / Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Adobe) proficiency • Westlaw proficiency • Able to travel independently and at short notice monthly • Able to carry and lift documents, drawings, and electronic equipment up to 15 lbs • Required PPE may include safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, respirators/masks, and protective gloves as required by site or customer site
