• Perform aircraft inspections and repairs in accordance with maintenance procedures, airworthiness directives, service bulletins, service letters, Federal Aviation Regulations, and applicable maintenance manuals • Plan maintenance efficiently and effectively to maximize aircraft availability • Serve as Lead Mechanic in the absence of the Lead Mechanic • Verify component and assembly part numbers and serial numbers against associated documentation • Complete aircraft maintenance documentation in compliance with regulations, company policies, procedures, and maintenance manuals • Request aviation parts and supplies and maintain an orderly inventory • Participate in the continuous improvement phase of the company’s Safety Management System • Maintain a clean and professional work area • Advise the Pilot in Command of maintenance issues that would take an aircraft out of service • Correct compliance or safety issues when directed by company leadership • Validate or confirm aircraft Status Report data • Mentor mechanics and provide on-the-job training • Troubleshoot and provide telephone and on-site problem solving to outlying mechanics • Provide timely on-call availability during nights, weekends, and holidays when necessary • Perform other assigned duties
• Must live in the Northeast Region: CT, DE, MA, MD, NC, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI, VA, or WV • Five (5) years’ related experience and/or training • Active/current FAA A&P license required and in good standing • Factory airframe/power plant schools preferred • FAR 135 operations preferred • Electrical troubleshooting and refined vibration-balancing • Sheet metal and composite repair procedures • Ability to read and understand 337s, Service Bulletins, ADs, and similar documents • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment • Ability to work as a team player with a professional attitude • Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and a 24/7 on-call rotation • Proficient with Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook • RAMCO experience preferred • Inspection Authorization (IA) preferred • Subject to DOT/FAA drug and/or alcohol testing requirements • Regular scheduled attendance required • 100% travel
