📋 Description

• Lead Exchange and Exchange Online architecture and administration • Design, implement, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Microsoft Exchange Server and Exchange Online environments • Lead migration from on-premises/hybrid Exchange to Exchange Online, including assessment, planning, coexistence, mailbox migration, cutover, validation, and post-migration optimization • Serve as technical SME for email security, including security controls, hardening, access controls, mail flow security, and protection against email-based threats • Manage Exchange high availability, backup, disaster recovery, recovery testing, and business continuity • Monitor and optimize Exchange and Exchange Online performance • Resolve complex messaging, mail flow, connectivity, authentication, and configuration issues • Administer and troubleshoot supporting Windows Server and Active Directory infrastructure • Manage Exchange-related AD attributes, DNS, TCP/IP, VLANs, subnetting, and other network dependencies • Develop PowerShell automation and operational tooling for administration, reporting, configuration, security, monitoring, and migration • Document and standardize email infrastructure operations, architecture, security procedures, migration plans, and operational procedures • Support a federal contract proposal focused on consolidating a hybrid environment to the cloud • Support the client as a Senior Email Architect and Administrator on the initial project assignment

🎯 Requirements

• 6–8+ years of recent experience as a senior Microsoft Exchange architect, with Exchange Server SE and Exchange Online • Active Public Trust Clearance or higher, adjudicated within the last 5 years • Hands-on lead architect experience migrating hybrid/on-premises Exchange to Exchange Online • Experience designing, implementing, and administering Exchange in hybrid and cloud environments • Experience as the primary technical SME for Exchange/Exchange Online security design, implementation, testing, and documentation • 5+ years of recent experience as a senior Exchange administrator, with Exchange 2013 and Exchange Online • Expert-level administration, configuration, tuning, and troubleshooting of Exchange/Exchange Online • Experience securing and hardening Exchange; backup and recovery; disaster recovery and high availability • Proficiency with Windows Server administration (2016+) and PowerShell scripting • Knowledge of Exchange AD attributes, Active Directory, and networking, including IP addressing, subnetting, TCP/IP, VLANs, and DNS • Experience working in regulated government environments is a nice-to-have
