📋 Description

• Diagnose data and AI governance gaps in regulated, high-complexity industries • Translate governance and business challenges into Alation-backed solutions • Advise enterprise stakeholders on industry-specific governance frameworks • Surface opportunities to expand product usage and consumption through demonstrated value • Lead discovery sessions to identify business and governance challenges • Run product demonstrations and adoption workshops for enterprise stakeholders • Build data-backed value stories connecting governance outcomes to measurable business impact • Own end-to-end delivery of Alation implementations and services engagements from kickoff through defined business outcomes • Define KPIs and value measures • Run enablement and adoption activities to embed governance practices into customer workflows • Help customers govern AI initiatives with the same rigor as data • Contribute to Executive Business Reviews by presenting governance and business outcomes • Partner with account teams to identify expansion opportunities

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 6+ years of consulting experience in a lead role • Proven track record delivering successful projects with measurable business outcomes • Experience delivering services as part of a software company • Extensive data management experience focused on data governance, data quality, master data management, and/or reference data • Demonstrated expertise in at least one target industry: Financial Services, Healthcare, Manufacturing, and/or Hospitality and Travel • Working understanding of data governance and AI governance concepts, metadata management, and mapping them to platform capabilities • Hands-on configuration/build experience is a plus, not a requirement • Ability to thrive in a high-growth, startup environment • Commitment to continuous learning and innovation • Ability to work effectively remotely using virtual teaming • Strong collaboration skills • Willingness to travel approximately 15–30% for customer and prospect onsite visits
