📋 Description

• Support administration, maintenance, and consistent application of compensation programs, policies, procedures, salary structures, and pay guidelines. • Conduct market pricing and compensation analysis using salary survey data, industry benchmarks, internal pay data, and other relevant sources. • Review job descriptions and evaluate positions for job classification, level alignment, exemption status, and salary range placement. • Partner with Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders on pay decisions, offer recommendations, promotions, transfers, and equity adjustments. • Assist with annual compensation planning, merit reviews, salary adjustments, incentive or bonus administration, budget tracking, data validation, reporting, and communications. • Maintain and audit compensation data in HR systems, spreadsheets, and related files. • Prepare compensation reports, analyses, and summaries to identify trends, pay compression, internal equity considerations, market competitiveness, and risk areas. • Participate in compensation surveys and gather, submit, and validate survey data. • Support compliance with federal, state, and Puerto Rico wage and hour laws, pay transparency requirements, FLSA guidelines, and internal policies. • Research and respond to compensation questions or discrepancies and escalate complex matters as appropriate. • Develop and maintain job descriptions, compensation documentation, process guides, templates, and communication materials. • Improve compensation processes, reporting, workflows, and tools. • Build relationships with HR partners, managers, and internal stakeholders to provide timely compensation support. • Handle compensation information with discretion, confidentiality, accuracy, professionalism, and sound judgment. • Participate in or lead meetings and support broader HR projects and initiatives.

🎯 Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of compensation, finance, or related analytical experience, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. • 1+ years of direct compensation experience, including compensation analysis, pay equity, market pricing, job evaluation, salary structure administration, or pay-related data analysis, is required. • Working knowledge of federal, state, and Puerto Rico wage and hour requirements, FLSA classification guidelines, pay transparency requirements, and compensation compliance practices is required. • Experience in healthcare, clinical research, multi-state employers, and remote workforce environments is preferred. • A professional HR or compensation certification, such as CCP, PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent, is preferred. • Proficiency with Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint, web applications, and typing at 40+ wpm. • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, lookups, pivot tables, data validation, filtering, sorting, and analysis of large data sets. • Strong analytical and mathematical skills. • High attention to detail and accuracy when handling salary data, job information, employee records, calculations, reports, and compensation recommendations. • Strong organizational, time management, problem-solving, and project coordination skills. • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and handle sensitive compensation and employee information professionally. • Well-developed interpersonal and listening skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively. • Professionalism, integrity, dependability, respect for others, self-motivation, and strong work ethic. • Ability to work under minimal supervision, identify problems, and implement solutions. • Ability to handle highly sensitive information confidentially and in compliance with privacy and company guidelines.
