📋 Description

• Handle complex technical tasks to ensure Alcon equipment functions effectively according to specifications • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Alcon surgical equipment within an assigned service territory • Perform preventative maintenance, installations, and upgrades according to company guidelines • Develop ongoing customer relationships to secure future business, including Annual Maintenance Contract/Comprehensive Annual Maintenance Contract sales and renewals • Document and maintain clients’ service logs • Prepare reports for product failure analysis and serviceability issues • Escalate issues to relevant engineering teams • Manage the daily schedule and maintain timely communications with customers, dispatch, managers, regional teams, and cross-functional teams • Follow Good Practice (GxP) regulations and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) • Complete required training and meet individual job requirements

🎯 Requirements

• Associate’s degree or equivalent years of directly related experience • 2 years of relevant experience • Fluency in reading, writing, understanding, and communicating in English • Ability to resolve problems, think analytically, and communicate professionally in high-pressure, time-sensitive customer environments • Experience working with advanced medical devices and medical devices using lasers • Familiarity with hospital operating room and surgery center protocols • Working knowledge of ServiceMax / CRM tools • Ability to lift 50 pounds, including tools and replacement parts • Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% out of territory, including overnight travel as needed
