📋 Description

• Prepare US GAAP financial statements and related disclosures, with anticipated Form 10-K/Form 10-Q reporting • Facilitate financial statement reviews with external auditors, executive leadership, the Audit Committee, and operational leaders • Research, analyze, document, and enable technical accounting conclusions for complex matters • Oversee accounting entries and memos for revenue recognition, acquisition accounting, and stock-compensation expense • Coordinate quarterly reviews and annual audits with external auditors • Ensure effective SOX controls around SEC reporting, internal reporting, and technical accounting • Prepare and review lender communication packages, covenant-compliance certificates and calculations, and other credit-agreement information • Own and review month-end and quarter-end accruals • Review internal-use software capitalization, useful-life/amortization, and impairment assessments • Own balance sheet reconciliation review and ensure timely reconciliation and SOX reviewer sign-offs • Prepare, review, and post journal entries and perform period-over-period fluctuation analysis • Coordinate other financial-statement close activities with FP&A, Payroll, and business owners • Lead reporting, GL, and technical-accounting process or system improvements • Automate and accelerate the financial-statement close process while strengthening controls • Build cross-functional relationships and act as a business partner to ensure transactions are properly reflected in financial statements

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required • CPA and/or public accounting experience required • 10-12+ years of relevant accounting and reporting experience, including general ledger/month-end close ownership • Proficient technical accounting skills and thorough understanding of US GAAP and SEC reporting • Hands-on experience owning month-end close activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and internal-use software capitalization • Demonstrated experience automating or accelerating the close using close-management, reconciliation, or ERP tools • Experience with application and adoption of new accounting standards preferred • Experience with close-management and reconciliation platforms such as FloQast and ERP systems such as NetSuite preferred • Familiarity with SQL, Power BI/Tableau, Alteryx, and AI-enabled accounting workflows preferred • Strong analytical, quantitative, and accounting research skills • Experience leading significant business process changes and automation initiatives • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment • Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills • Sitting for prolonged periods; extensive computer and keyboard use; occasional walking and lifting may be required
