📋 Description

• Lead the Activations engineering team responsible for the technical work that helps new clients go live • Align team priorities, processes, and decision-making with broader organizational goals • Coach, develop, and support engineers through regular feedback, performance conversations, and day-to-day technical guidance • Design, guide, and review systems within the team’s scope while contributing production-grade code • Review code and technical designs to ensure high standards for quality • Partner closely with Product Management to translate complex product requirements into practical technical plans • Monitor quality, reliability, and platform health so the team makes the right technical investments • Help create an environment where engineers can think through problems with a product lens

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with a strong hands-on technical foundation • 2+ years of experience in a technology leadership role with a track record of building and leading strong teams • Strong experience with modern software engineering across areas such as TypeScript, Node.js, Python, API development, event-driven systems, and relational databases such as Postgres • Strong system design and architecture skills • Experience building backend services and APIs with a solid understanding of REST APIs and microservice-style architectures • A leadership style centered on raising the bar through code reviews, technical coaching, and thoughtful collaboration • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Comfort operating in an evolving environment where priorities can shift
