• Own and lead AIOA's Professional Services Practice as a business unit with its own P&L, team of CFOs, and client book • Own practice-level client portfolio outcomes including retention, satisfaction, NPS, and expansion opportunities • Serve as escalation point for complex or at-risk client situations • Set quality standards for professional service financial advisory work, including utilization analysis, revenue recognition, billing efficiency, and cash flow management • Drive service expansion within the existing client book • Define the ideal client profile and partner with Business Development • Close qualified professional services opportunities surfaced by Business Development • Deliver workbook analysis and Value Workshops • Develop strategic partnerships with attorneys, bankers, and professional services networks • Hire, develop, retain, and manage capacity for the practice team • Hold CFOs accountable to client outcomes, team health metrics, and EOS commitments • Create career pathways and development plans across practice roles • Foster the practice's core values and partner with Talent on hiring decisions • Own revenue, cost management, profitability, budget, and the full practice P&L • Develop and execute the annual practice plan • Report practice performance to the EVP, Operations through Scorecard, Rocks, and L10 meetings • Drive process improvements and best practices across the firm • Build AIOA's external reputation through industry events, publications, and referral partnerships • Monitor service-based business models, billing trends, partner economics, pricing strategy, and M&A activity • Champion technology standards and advocate for new service lines or delivery approaches • Complete internal responsibilities, training, to-dos, and quarterly Rocks • Participate in the Brand Ambassador program • Uphold security practices protecting client assets and firm data
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or another related field • 12–15+ years of progressive experience in accounting and financial leadership for professional service businesses • Proven track record of LMA — leading, managing, and holding teams accountable to outcomes • Deep expertise in service-based business models, utilization and realization metrics, billing structures, and revenue recognition • Demonstrated experience owning client portfolios and practice-level business outcomes • Established presence or network in the professional services sector with credibility to represent AIOA externally • Excellence in executive-level communication with business owners, partners, and external advisors • Experience in a multi-client or Client Accounting Services (CAS) environment strongly preferred • P&L ownership or business unit management experience strongly preferred • Experience in or strong familiarity with EOS preferred • CPA strongly preferred
