📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of behavioral, emotional, and mental health needs • Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with client goals • Provide evidence-based individual and family therapy using modalities such as CBT and DBT • Deliver care virtually via telehealth • Track client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment outcomes • Collaborate with primary care physicians, psychiatrists, psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners, social workers, case managers, and other healthcare professionals • Communicate treatment plans, progress, and recommendations with clients, families, and stakeholders • Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in acute distress • Develop safety plans and strategies to prevent or mitigate crises • Educate clients and families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies • Maintain a consistent patient volume commensurate with contracted hours and organizational access needs

🎯 Requirements

• Master's degree in social work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field • Active independent clinical licensure in at least one of Washington, DC, Maryland, or Virginia • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience providing therapy to youth, adults, and individuals experiencing behavioral health challenges • Experience treating patients ages 13 and older • Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and interventions • Excellent communication, relationship-building, documentation, and organizational skills • Experience providing telehealth services • Willingness to obtain licensure in additional states preferred • Experience with specialized populations or treatment areas such as trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, or grief and loss preferred • Familiarity with Athena One EHR and electronic health record documentation standards preferred
