📋 Description

• Monitor, track, analyze, and summarize proposed and existing federal, state, and municipal employee leave provisions, including paid family medical leave and paid sick leave • Develop, review, and provide ongoing consulting support to clients on leave policy implementation and application • Draft policies and review existing client policies for compliance with federal, state, and municipal leave laws • Provide practical guidance to employers on implementing and applying leave law provisions • Create and manage educational content for internal Alliant staff • Prepare and present educational content via webinar and distribute it to clients and Alliant account teams • Develop marketing materials supporting client services on federal, state, and municipal leave laws • Write leave law content for social media platforms • Conduct primary leave law research and manage the leave support platform • Engage daily with Alliant Employee Benefits Compliance Consultants regarding the impact of employee leaves on group health plan benefits • Attend client and prospect meetings as appropriate • Develop standard responses to requests for proposals for leave support services • Develop monthly topics for direct client distribution across Alliant content mediums • Maintain complete and accurate information in the agency management system • Perform duties in accordance with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree, required • Juris Doctor, required • Three (3) or more years of related work experience advising clients and developing policies related to leaves, required • Law firm experience, preferred • Command of employee leave laws with a practical and in-depth understanding • General understanding of group health plan benefits and the interaction between benefits and employee leave law provisions • Understanding of regulatory agencies and processes impacting employee leave laws • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to communicate complex topics in a practical way • Ability to work positively and cohesively across disciplines and areas of expertise • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and prioritization skills • Ability to meet deadlines
