📋 Description

• Provide customer service and support Producers by servicing existing accounts and soliciting new business • Independently service and retain assigned customers and policies • Package and market applications to carriers to obtain quotes • Negotiate prices, commissions, and/or coverages with carriers • Review policies, identify deficiencies, and determine appropriate coverage levels • Manage renewals for expiring policies • Review client accounting history, respond to accounting inquiries, correct discrepancies, and collect past-due accounts • Participate in client meetings to review coverage • Gather application information • Prepare client presentations and proposals • Research underwriter information requests • Compose correspondence to insureds and underwriters • Assist with renewal and new-business marketing strategy • Prepare draft certificate templates for review and approval • Analyze certificate requests and ensure client needs are met • Input applications and create letters and other correspondence • Bind insurance coverage and prepare insurance binders • Maintain complete and accurate agency management system data • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience • Four (4) or more years related work experience • Valid Insurance License • Must continue to meet Continuing Education requirements for license renewal • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Excellent customer service skills, including telephone and listening skills • Good problem solving and time management skills • Intermediate typing skills (30-35 wpm) • Ability to work within a team and to foster teamwork • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
