• Develop annual convention budgets with Operating Units, Convention Specialists, and Finance stakeholders • Maintain forecasting models, monitor spending, support accrual activities, and identify budget risks and savings opportunities • Reconcile convention expenses, validate cost allocations, analyze variances, and report accurately to cost centers • Develop dashboards, automated reporting solutions, KPI reporting, and executive-level analytics • Use Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Apps, Glean, and other analytics and automation tools to improve reporting, workflows, data discrepancy identification, and data integrity • Serve as liaison between Operating Units and convention stakeholders • Facilitate budget discussions, gather requirements, communicate financial performance, and adapt communication approaches to business partners • Lead vendor performance management, including SLA monitoring, vendor scorecards, business reviews, compliance support, performance tracking, and cost-savings analysis • Support convention operations through project timeline management, planning documentation, invoice processing, data governance, and cross-functional process execution • Contribute to process standardization, documentation, automation, stakeholder training, and implementation of new technologies and reporting capabilities
• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, business analytics, budget management, project management, sales operations, event operations, or related analytical business functions; or Advanced Degree with 3+ years of related experience • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including PivotTables, complex formulas, data validation techniques, and analysis of large datasets • Experience managing budgets, forecasts, financial reporting, accrual processes, or business performance analytics • Experience developing reports, dashboards, or data visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, Glean, or similar business intelligence and analytics platforms • Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to communicate data-driven insights, support decision-making, and manage competing priorities • Unrestricted U.S. work authorization required at the time of hire and for the duration of employment; sponsorship is not offered for roles below Principal level • For baccalaureate degrees earned outside the United States, a degree satisfying 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required
