📋 Description

• Review repair estimates related to vehicle breakdowns • Verify coverage eligibility and determine whether repairs are covered under customers’ Vehicle Service Contracts • Negotiate and settle basic and occasionally moderately complex claims • Investigate claim files, review damage, take photos, and determine reparability or total loss • Prepare damage estimates and locate parts for claims • Negotiate claim settlements • Document claim files with notes, evaluations, and decision-making processes • Complete other tasks as directed by management • Work as an individual contributor without supervisory duties

🎯 Requirements

• Beginner-level resource for adjudicating VSC mechanical claims according to quality and timeliness guidelines • Strong automotive or mechanical background • Comfortable evaluating vehicle repairs and estimates • Experience or knowledge in adjudication, auto collision repair, automotive repair, car maintenance, claims processing, customer service, customer support, de-escalation, documentation, negotiation, vehicle repairs, and vehicle servicing • Required to submit to a background investigation • Must have a dedicated, private home workspace free from distractions • Appropriate desk and seating when working from home • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload • Allstate generally does not sponsor employment-based visas for this position
