📋 Description

• Create or audit comprehensive estimates of damages for first- and third-party material damage claims • Lead claims toward proper disposition across auto or specialty lines • Train, mentor, control quality, and provide technical assistance on material damage claims • Understand policy content across all company-written policy types • Negotiate settlements, make settlement payments, and document activities in complex files across multiple lines • Evaluate settlement alternatives for regulatory compliance and fair claims practices • Build relationships with internal and external customers • Inspect vehicles, meet customers, and work with repair facilities and body shops • Support CAT response efforts and increased claim volume through travel

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of body shop, collision repair, or automotive repair experience with strong vehicle knowledge • Ability to assess vehicle damage and communicate repair recommendations effectively with customers and repair facilities • Strong communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills • Ability to manage an independent schedule, prioritize workload, and work effectively in a field-based environment • Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team • Candidates must reside within or near the assigned Wilmington, NC territory • Willingness to travel as needed for CAT response efforts and increased claim volume • Candidates must possess authorization to work in the United States • Claims experience and CCC ONE proficiency are preferred but not required • Dedicated, private workspace free from distractions when working from home • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload
