📋 Description

• Investigate, negotiate, and settle basic and occasionally moderately complex CAT personal property or liability insurance claims • Review insurance policies, reports, photos, damages, and coverage • Determine loss coverage, negotiate and settle claims, and authorize payments • Summarize documents and enter information into claim system notes • Handle contents inventories and basic to moderately complex pricing analysis • Prepare claims reports • Manage additional living expense (ALE) claims as needed • Review, evaluate, and submit potential underwriting referral actions • Investigate and verify basic and moderately complex coverage and policy information • Document claim files with notes, evaluations, and decision-making processes • Apply critical thinking and sound judgment to evaluate claims, identify issues, and determine resolutions • Explain claim processes, resolve concerns, produce quality estimates, and build customer confidence and trust • Maintain compliance with state regulations and established Allstate policies, procedures, and internal controls

🎯 Requirements

• Active adjuster license, or willingness to obtain one; applicable license(s) must be secured within 60 days of hire • Ability to successfully pass required testing, including an additional Department of Labor background check • 50 MBPS download and 5 MBPS upload internet connection • Dedicated, private workspace free from distractions with appropriate desk and seating • Reliable internet • 4-year bachelor’s degree (Preferred) • 0–2 years’ experience (Preferred) • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of the above education requirements • Knowledge of regional construction types and related repair methodologies • Skills in business communications, catastrophic claims, document examination, fraud investigations, prioritization, property claims, and Xactimate • Ability to maintain strict compliance with state regulations, Allstate policies, procedures, and internal controls • Candidates must be able to work Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM CT, with rotating weekend coverage and potential mandatory CAT/Large Claim event weekend support • Not eligible for residents of California, Alaska, Washington, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico • Allstate generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position
