📋 Description

• Provide claims guidance, quality assurance, training, and operational oversight to Field Claims operations • Monitor claims handled by National Catastrophe Team staff and contingent workers throughout the claim lifecycle • Provide direction on investigations, coverage, liability, damages, and claim valuation • Exercise settlement and denial authority on moderate-severity losses exceeding adjuster or contingent worker authority • Serve as a management resource on complex coverage issues and high-severity claims • Authorize damage estimates and claim payments for moderately complex losses • Provide vendor and NCT staff oversight • Support coverage investigations, supplement triage, subrogation investigations, Public Adjuster claims, ALE handling, asbestos abatement, ladder assists, and contents inventory and pricing • Review statistical and performance reports to assess claim outcomes, processes, and procedures, and communicate findings • Conduct claims performance, quality, and audit reviews • Document claim files with notes, evaluations, and decision rationale • Summarize documentation and enter information into claim system notes

🎯 Requirements

• Three or more years of direct property adjusting experience • Property estimating experience, including estimate writing • Experience using estimating tools, such as Xactimate • Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment • High attention to detail, strong time management, and analytical skills • Candidates located within the Pacific or Mountain Time Zones are preferred • Must obtain an adjuster and/or appraiser license if required by the office/area, within 60 days of hire • Applicants with active insurance licenses must terminate all existing appointments before onboarding and must not hold outside appointments during employment • Applicants with a resident producer license seeking an adjuster role must surrender that license when instructed • Successful background investigation required • Must maintain regular, predictable attendance • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload • Dedicated, private home workspace with appropriate desk and seating • Allstate generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position • Not eligible for residents of California, Alaska, Hawaii, Washington, or Puerto Rico
