📋 Description

• Meet customers at their homes, repair shops, or tow yards • Write estimates and guide customers through the repair or total loss process • Conduct in-person visits, virtual inspections, and written communication • Evaluate vehicle damage and collaborate with body shops and service providers • Investigate claims through detailed damage reviews and policy interpretation to determine coverage • Communicate with customers by phone, email, and video chat, providing updates on claim progress • Evaluate and negotiate claim settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants • Use estimate tools, job aids, and settlement platforms to resolve claims • Accurately document claims and maintain timely records in the claims system

🎯 Requirements

• 3-5 years' experience in auto collision estimating using CCC or Mitchell • High School Diploma or GED • Proficient written and verbal communication skills • Strong attention to detail and ability to write precise and comprehensive estimates • Comfortable utilizing technology and various platforms for claims processing • Excellent time management and organizational skills • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel • Must be located in Queens, NY • Required adjusters' and/or appraisers' licenses must be obtained within 60 days of hire • Must maintain all licensing required for the role, including continuing education and other state-affiliated renewal requirements • Must pass a background investigation • Allstate generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position • When working from home, must have a dedicated, private workspace, appropriate desk and seating, and reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload
