📋 Description

• Evaluate and prepare estimates for auto vehicles involved in a loss • Appraise and determine repair costs for damaged vehicles by reviewing photos and supporting documentation • Determine repair versus replace and parts utilization • Evaluate whether vehicles are repairable or salvageable using industry-standard estimatics software • Prepare estimates using estimatics software • Work directly with auto repair facilities on supplemental repair processing • Provide supplemental estimates • Negotiate agreed scopes of repair with repair facilities • Perform other duties as assigned • Travel as required

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required • Licenses as required by state guidelines • Three (3) years of related experience, including at least one (1) year of appraisal experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience required • Strong knowledge of automobiles • Ability to understand and utilize appraisal software • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills • PC literate, including Microsoft Office products • Analytical and interpretive skills • Strong organizational skills • Excellent interpersonal skills • Excellent negotiating skills • Ability to create and complete comprehensive, accurate and constructive written reports • Ability to work in a team environment • Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies • Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines • Ability to travel as required
