📋 Description

• Create or audit comprehensive estimates of damages for first- and third-party material damage claims • Lead claims toward proper disposition • Train, mentor, control quality, and provide technical assistance on material damage claims • Handle auto claims virtually and in the field throughout the Asheville, NC market, including Hendersonville, Waynesville, and surrounding western North Carolina areas • Inspect vehicles and prepare accurate damage estimates using CCC ONE • Work with customers and repair facilities to support timely and effective claim resolution • Create or audit estimates for material damage losses of all severities • Understand policy content across all policy types written by the company • Negotiate settlements, make settlement payments, and document activities in complex files across multiple lines • Evaluate settlement alternatives for regulatory compliance and fair claims practices • Build relationships with internal and external customers across multiple lines • No supervisory duties

🎯 Requirements

• Previous experience as an Auto Damage Appraiser, Field Appraiser, Auto Claims Adjuster, body shop, collision repair, or automotive repair facility experience • Proficiency using CCC ONE estimating software • Experience conducting in-person vehicle inspections and preparing accurate repair estimates • Strong understanding of auto repair processes, vehicle construction, and damage evaluation • Ability to effectively negotiate with repair facilities, vendors, and customers • Excellent customer service and communication skills • Ability to work independently and travel within the assigned territory • Active insurance license holders must terminate all existing appointments prior to onboarding and must not hold outside appointments during employment • Applicants with a resident producer license seeking an adjuster role must surrender that license when instructed by the licensing team • Authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not provided • Dedicated, private workspace free from distractions when working from home • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload
