📋 Description

• Investigate and evaluate homeowners property claims from start to finish • Confirm facts of loss, determine coverage, assess damages, and negotiate settlements within assigned authority • Manage the entire claim lifecycle, including supplements, Additional Living Expense (ALE) claims, contents, and personal property losses • Work closely with customers, contractors, and other partners to handle claims accurately and efficiently • Deliver excellent customer service through clear and timely communication • Keep customers informed and supported throughout the claims process • Create estimates of damages for complex first-party homeowner losses • Build relationships with internal and external customers • Interpret regulatory compliance and fair claims practices • Negotiate settlements, make settlement payments, and document activities in complex files • Apply policy interpretations across company-written policy types • Assist leadership with formal and ad hoc training • Recommend process improvements • No supervisory duties

🎯 Requirements

• Experienced Field Property Adjuster • Located preferably in the central or eastern parts of Massachusetts • Proficiency in Xactimate • Strong foundation in claims handling, including supplements, Additional Living Expense (ALE), contents, and full claim ownership • Strong organizational skills • Proactive approach • Excellent customer service • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment • Experience handling claims in both field and desk settings strongly preferred • Active adjuster license or a license qualifying for reciprocity in applicable states strongly preferred • Must possess authorization to work in the United States • Individuals holding an active insurance license must terminate all existing appointments before onboarding and may not hold outside appointments during employment • Applicants with a resident producer license must surrender that license when instructed by the licensing team • Dedicated, private home workspace free from distractions • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload
