📋 Description

• Investigate and confirm facts of loss for complex homeowner claims • Determine coverage, damages, and claim disposition within authority limits • Create comprehensive estimates of damages for complex first-party homeowner claims • Conduct on-site inspections throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas area • Prepare detailed repair estimates using Xactimate • Negotiate claim settlements and make settlement payments • Document all claim activities • Interpret company policy types, regulatory compliance, and fair claims practices • Serve as a peer mentor and technical resource to less experienced adjusters • Assist leadership with formal and ad hoc training • Recommend process improvements • Deliver exceptional customer service • This job does not have supervisory duties

🎯 Requirements

• Experienced Field Property Adjuster handling complex homeowner property claims • Strong experience handling residential property claims • Experience writing and reviewing Xactimate repair estimates • Experience conducting on-site inspections • Experience with first-party homeowner claims investigations • Coverage analysis and damage assessment skills • Experience negotiating claim settlements and managing complex losses • Customer communication and relationship-building skills • Prior field adjusting experience in the Dallas-Fort Worth market preferred • Applicable active licenses may include Home Resident Property & Casualty License, Designated Home State (DHS) Florida or Texas License, and/or applicable Appraiser License • Must terminate existing insurance appointments before onboarding and must not hold outside appointments during employment • Applicants with a resident producer license must surrender it when instructed by the licensing team • Must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not provided • Dedicated, private home workspace free from distractions with appropriate desk and seating • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload
