📋 Description

• Investigate and confirm facts of loss for the most complex Homeowners claims • Determine coverage and damages and adjust and negotiate claims within authority limits • Provide guidance and direction to junior employees • Partner with fraud and subrogation representatives to achieve the best outcome • Recognize and identify key components of residential construction and repair • Identify complex customer needs and address them using appropriate customer service skills • Determine subrogation or fraud potential and appropriate handling • Handle investigations for complex Homeowners first-party claims involving coverage, damages, and subrogation • Exercise discretion and independence within an increased level of authority • Service the Northeastern territory • No supervisory duties

🎯 Requirements

• Candidates should be located in either Eastern or Central time zones • Candidates must possess authorization to work in the United States • Extensive experience at the Adjuster II level or experience in a specialty position such as Coverage, Investigation Specialist, Litigation, Large Loss, Water Mitigation, or Desk Review • Advanced understanding of insurance policies, the insurance industry, and organizational relationships • Knowledge of residential construction and repair, including structural integrity and home systems • Skills in case management, claims administration, insurance underwriting, relationship building, and stakeholder relationship management • Dedicated, private workspace free from distractions when working from home • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload • Appropriate desk and seating for working from home
