📋 Description

• Investigate and confirm facts of loss for the most complex Homeowners claims • Determine coverage and damages • Adjust and negotiate claims within limits of authority • Provide guidance and direction to junior employees • Partner with fraud or subrogation representatives to achieve the best outcome • Identify key components of residential construction and repair, including structural integrity and home systems • Identify complex customer needs and address them using appropriate customer service skills • Determine subrogation or fraud potential and appropriate handling • Handle all aspects of complex Homeowners first-party claims, including coverage, damages, and subrogation, with discretion and independence

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive experience at the Adjuster II level or rotation into a specialty position (Coverage, Investigation Specialist, Litigation, Large Loss, Water Mitigation, Desk Review) • Experience investigating complex Homeowners claims • Knowledge of residential construction and repair, including structural integrity and home systems • Advanced understanding of insurance policies, the insurance industry, and organizational relationships • Knowledge of claims coverage, damages, subrogation, and fraud potential • Ability to determine coverage, damages, and negotiate claims within authority limits • Customer service skills for complex customer needs • Authorization to work in the United States; the company does not sponsor work visas • Dedicated, private home workspace free from distractions • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload
