📋 Description

• Investigate and confirm facts of loss for the most complex homeowners claims • Determine coverage and damages and adjust and negotiate claims within authority limits • Investigate, evaluate, and resolve complex residential property claims from inception through resolution • Review claim details and analyze policy coverage • Assess damages using documentation and estimating software such as Xactimate • Communicate with policyholders and vendors • Negotiate fair and accurate claim settlements • Provide guidance and direction to junior employees • Partner with fraud and subrogation representatives to achieve the best outcome • Identify residential construction and repair components, including structural integrity and home systems • Determine subrogation or fraud potential and appropriate handling • Handle complex homeowners first-party claims involving coverage, damages, and subrogation with discretion and independence

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive experience at the Adjuster II level or rotation into a specialty position • Advanced understanding of company-written insurance policies, the insurance industry, and organizational relationships • Experience handling complex homeowners first-party claims involving coverage, damages, and subrogation • Ability to investigate, evaluate, adjust, and negotiate property claims independently within increased authority • Knowledge of residential construction and repair, including structural integrity and home systems • Ability to identify subrogation and fraud potential and determine appropriate handling • Customer service skills for addressing complex customer needs • Applicable active insurance licenses may be required, including a Home Resident Property & Casualty License, Designated Home State Florida or Texas License, and/or applicable Appraiser License • Must terminate existing insurance appointments before onboarding and may not hold outside appointments during employment • Applicants with a resident producer license must surrender it when instructed by the licensing team • Authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not provided • Dedicated, private home workspace free from distractions with appropriate desk and seating • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload
