📋 Description

• Design and scale insider threat detection capabilities • Translate business processes, user behavior, workflows, operational risks, and control gaps into scalable detection signals and monitoring use cases • Work across business units, HR, Legal, Cybersecurity, and risk partners to understand processes, behaviors, and control environments • Analyze user activity, system logs, and behavioral data to identify anomalies and insider risk indicators • Incorporate insurance, financial risk, fraud, or cybersecurity domain knowledge into detection design • Partner with detection, investigation, and engineering teams to align detection logic with operational risk • Evaluate existing controls and monitoring capabilities and recommend enhancements • Refine detection methodologies using investigative feedback, emerging risks, and evolving business processes • Document detection logic, methodologies, and assumptions

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity, insider threat, fraud, risk analytics, or detection engineering • Experience with SIEM, UEBA, DLP, EDR, or identity/access monitoring platforms • Exposure to insurance, financial services, fraud, or regulatory environments is preferred • Successful completion of a background investigation • Must have a dedicated, private workspace free from distractions when working from home • Appropriate desk and seating when working from home • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload • Allstate generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position
