📋 Description

• Travel to customers' homes to conduct on-site inspections • Investigate coverage and property claims • Prepare estimates and settle claims promptly and efficiently • Handle virtual claims countrywide • Use Xactimate, ClaimsX Video Collaboration, estimate tools, job aids, and settlement platforms • Focus expertise on water losses • Provide compassionate, clear, and customer-focused claim service • Perform detailed damage reviews and interpret policies to determine coverage • Communicate with customers by phone, email, and video chat • Negotiate claim settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants • Apply legal and business-standard methodologies and tactics for challenging and complex situations • Complete timely and accurate claim documentation in the claims system • Execute policies in accordance with policy agreements

🎯 Requirements

• Residency within the posted location is mandatory for this role • 4 years’ previous experience as an outside adjuster is highly desired • Experience handling claims with multiple trades and over $100,000 in losses • Proficiency in using Xactimate and other relevant software for estimating • Strong critical thinking and technical skills to assess damages accurately and expedite claims settlements • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to travel to customers' homes and handle virtual claims countrywide • Detail-oriented and organized • Must be able to carry a 50-pound ladder and access roofs with up to a 6/12 pitch • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel • Active insurance license holders must terminate all existing appointments before onboarding and must not hold outside appointments during employment • Resident producer license holders must formally surrender that license when instructed by the licensing team • Must obtain an adjuster and/or appraiser license within 60 days of hire if required • Must submit to a background investigation • This position is not available for California, Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico residents • Dedicated, private home workspace free from distractions with appropriate desk and seating • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload
