📋 Description

• Grant settlement authority on highly complex claims exceeding Market Claim Office and Regional Claim Office limits • Provide recommendations on requests to go to trial for cases exceeding Market Claim Office authority • Provide general oversight of large losses for assigned CSAs • Provide discretionary referrals, opinions, and research on coverage issues • Approve Closed Without Payment requests where liability is disputed and value exceeds Field authority • Perform file reviews for complex projects and litigation cases, analyze data, and report findings • Review cases to determine whether Closed Without Payment is appropriate based on gross tort value exposure • Support the Field with discretionary referrals on complex coverage issues and engage Home Office Claim litigation as needed • Review coverage, liability, and damages on highly complex cases and collaborate with Field leadership on next steps • Share experience and trends from referred cases with Frontline Performance Experts, Frontline Performance Leaders, and Claim Process Specialists • Work with Product, Protection, Law, and Claims on new products and develop Claim Bulletins affecting claim-handling practices • Manage complex, high-exposure claims involving policy limits up to 100/300, rejected tenders, extra-contractual exposure claims, severe injuries, and fatalities • No supervisory duties

🎯 Requirements

• Prior experience handling large loss claims • Experience navigating complex liability issues • Experience managing litigation through resolution • Strong investigative, negotiation, and risk assessment skills • Experience with bodily injury claims, commercial insurance claims, complex claims, homeowners claims, large loss claims, personal injury claims, litigation, litigation management, and torts • Must possess authorization to work in the United States • Candidates must terminate all existing insurance appointments before onboarding and must not hold outside appointments during employment • Applicants with a resident producer license must surrender that license when instructed by the licensing team • Dedicated, private workspace free from distractions when working from home • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload
