📋 Description

• Investigate and confirm facts of loss for basic to moderately complex automobile accidents • Determine coverage, liability, and damages using analytical thinking • Adjust and negotiate claims within authority limits • Conduct coverage investigations and complex claims investigations • Partner with SIU to uncover facts and support claim decisions • Determine subrogation or fraud potential and appropriate handling • Handle investigations involving auto claim coverage, liability, and damages • Identify vehicle body parts and other potential property damage • Identify customer needs and address them using appropriate customer service skills • Work collaboratively in a fast-paced claims environment • No supervisory responsibilities

🎯 Requirements

• Experienced Claims Adjuster • Strong coverage investigation skills • Excellent attention to detail • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced claims environment • Experience with policy interpretation and complex investigations • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally, including partnering with SIU • Ability to work Central hours • Basic understanding of systems and technology used within the company • Basic understanding of insurance policies, the insurance industry, and organizational relationships • Basic investigation skills across auto claim coverage, liability, and damages • Ability to recognize and identify vehicle body parts and potential property damage • Customer service skills • Individuals holding an active insurance license must terminate all existing appointments before onboarding and must not hold outside appointments during employment • Applicants with a resident producer license must surrender that license when instructed by the licensing team • Must possess authorization to work in the United States • Must have a dedicated, private workspace free from distractions when working from home • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload
