📋 Description

• Execute and/or manage projects supporting P&C insurance reserving • Work with reserving leadership, Finance, and Claims to evaluate reserve adequacy and volatility • Monitor emerging loss trends • Lead creation of a reserve narrative • Provide thought and technical leadership and contribute to improvement, development, and innovation • Plan, implement, manage, and contribute to moderate- to high-complexity projects • Lead and perform complex reserve analyses using actuarial, statistical, and predictive modeling techniques • Apply knowledge of insurance business, claims operations, products, markets, and the broader economic environment • Mentor, guide, and review less experienced talent • Review and communicate reserving methodologies and results to leadership and business partners • Select, review, use, and ensure quality of claims, exposure, and financial data for reserve analyses, monitoring, and actuarial projections

🎯 Requirements

• Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS) or Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) • 4 year Bachelors Degree • 5 or more years of experience • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of the education requirements • Background investigation required • Allstate generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position • Dedicated, private workspace free from distractions when working from home • Appropriate desk and seating when working from home • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload
