📋 Description

• Manage litigation files from inception through resolution, including trial preparation • Draft and file pleadings, respond to discovery, and support motion practice • Order and track medical records; coordinate expert review and disclosures • Prepare arbitration and trial materials, including jury instructions when applicable • Monitor case deadlines and ensure timely service and compliance • Collaborate with attorneys and other paralegals to maintain organized, high-quality case files • Support insurance defense cases involving bodily injury claims • Work closely with experienced attorneys on high-impact cases • Provide legal support to Allstate’s Litigation Services team

🎯 Requirements

• Must meet the minimum qualifications for paralegals as defined by applicable state law • 5+ years experience as a Paralegal with a focus on insurance defense or civil litigation preferred • Experience managing high-volume caseloads in a fast-paced legal environment • Familiarity with legal procedures, including pleadings, discovery, motions, and court filings • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively • Strong written and verbal communication skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence • Must submit to a background investigation • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload • Dedicated, private workspace free from distractions with appropriate desk and seating • Allstate generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position
