• Conduct reviews of rates for assigned states and product lines, analyzing profit and loss results, past and current trends, projecting underwriting losses, and reviewing rate competitiveness • Complete detailed analyses, make recommendations, and prepare rate package proposals for key business partners • Prepare internal and external communications, including interactions with regulatory authorities and management, describing and supporting rules and rate changes • Gain a basic understanding of Allstate’s property and casualty business lines • Complete assignments involving auto, homeowners, specialty lines, or business insurance • Contribute to overall growth and profit goals of major initiatives
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics, or a related field • Strong academic standing with a GPA of 3.0 or greater • Must be a full-time student • Graduation date after February 19th, 2027 and before August 20th, 2029 • Pursuing actuarial designation • Ability to analyze data and review analysis while demonstrating strong decision-making skills • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office: Intermediate Excel, Intermediate Word, Beginner Outlook, Basic PowerPoint • Standard knowledge in the use of data sources • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to complete multiple concurrent assignments in a timely manner • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload • Dedicated, private workspace free from distractions, with appropriate desk and seating • Allstate generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position
