📋 Description

• Provide exceptional service to policyholders • Travel to customers' homes to conduct on-site inspections • Investigate coverage and review property damage • Prepare estimates and settle claims promptly and efficiently • Handle virtual claims countrywide using platforms such as Xactimate and ClaimsX Video Collaboration • Focus expertise on water-loss claims • Investigate property claims independently and interpret policies to determine coverage • Communicate with customers by phone, email, and video chat • Offer customers communication preferences and provide claim-progress updates • Evaluate and negotiate claim settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants • Use estimating tools, job aids, and settlement platforms to resolve claims • Complete timely and accurate claim documentation and maintain clear records in the claims system

🎯 Requirements

• 2 years' previous experience as an outside adjuster is highly desired • Previous experience as an outside adjuster is highly desired • Proficiency using Xactimate and other relevant estimating software • Strong critical-thinking and technical skills for accurately assessing damages and expediting claim settlements • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to travel to customers' homes and handle virtual claims countrywide • Detail-oriented and organized, with focus on high-quality work • Residency within the posted location is mandatory • Ability and willingness to carry a 50-pound ladder and access up to a 6/12 pitch on a one- to two-story roof • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel • Must attend approximately two weeks of training in Dallas, TX • May be required to obtain an adjuster and/or appraiser license within 60 days of hire, if applicable • Must submit to a background investigation • Dedicated, private home workspace free from distractions with appropriate desk and seating • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload • Position unavailable to residents of California, Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico • Allstate generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position
