📋 Description

• Travel to customers' homes to conduct on-site property inspections • Investigate coverage and review damage • Prepare estimates and settle claims promptly and efficiently • Handle virtual claims countrywide • Use Xactimate, ClaimsX Video Collaboration, estimate tools, job aids, and settlement platforms • Provide compassionate, clear customer service throughout each claim • Communicate with customers by phone, email, and video chat • Evaluate and negotiate settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants • Apply legal and business-standard methodologies during negotiations • Use critical thinking to resolve challenging and complex claims situations • Execute policies according to policy agreements • Maintain timely and accurate claim documentation in the claims system • Attend approximately 2 weeks of training in Dallas, TX

🎯 Requirements

• Residency within the posted location is mandatory • Ability and willingness to carry a 50-pound ladder and access up to a 6/12 pitch on a one- to two-story roof • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel • 2 years' previous experience as an outside adjuster is highly desired • Previous experience in construction estimating or as an outside adjuster is highly desired • Proficiency in Xactimate and other relevant estimating software • Strong critical thinking and technical skills to assess damages accurately and expedite claims settlements • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to travel to customers' homes and handle virtual claims countrywide • Detail-oriented and organized • This position is not available for California, Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico residents • Must submit to a background investigation • Adjuster and/or appraiser license may be required within 60 days of hire, if applicable • Dedicated, private home workspace with appropriate desk and seating • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload • Allstate generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position
