📋 Description

• Investigate and confirm facts of loss for complex homeowner claims • Determine coverage and damages and adjust and negotiate claims within authority limits • Create comprehensive damage estimates for complex first-party homeowner claims • Investigate and manage moderate to complex residential property, farm, and ranch claims • Conduct on-site inspections and virtual claim handling • Negotiate settlements and make settlement payments • Document all activities in complex claim files • Interpret regulatory compliance, fair claims practices, and company policy types • Build relationships with internal and external customers • Assist leadership with formal and ad hoc training • Recommend process improvements • Serve as a peer mentor and provide direction to junior employees • No supervisory duties

🎯 Requirements

• Must reside in Wyoming, preferably near Laramie, Platte, Fremont or Campbell county • Authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not provided • Strong estimating skills • Proficiency with Xactimate • Experience handling agricultural, farm, and ranch claims highly preferred • Applicable active licenses may include Home Resident Property & Casualty License, Designated Home State (DHS) Florida or Texas License, and/or applicable Appraiser License • Dedicated, private workspace free from distractions when working from home • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload • Ability to manage challenging situations and deliver an exceptional customer experience
