📋 Description

• Investigate and confirm facts of loss for the most complex automobile accidents • Determine coverage, liability, and damages • Adjust and negotiate claims within limits of authority • Mentor and provide direction to junior employees • Handle complex liability, coverage, property damage, casualty, and injury claims • Recognize vehicle body parts and assess potential property damage • Identify customer needs and apply appropriate customer service skills • Determine subrogation or fraud potential and handling approach • Apply advanced understanding of company and industry insurance policies and organizational relationships • Recommend process improvements • Handle complex auto claim investigations independently within increased authority • Review, evaluate, and negotiate moderate to complex or catastrophic injury claims when applicable

🎯 Requirements

• Direct claim ownership experience, including complex liability and coverage investigations, property damage claims, and casualty claims • Strong understanding of claims quality standards, auditing practices, and industry best practices • Coaching and developing others; previous leadership or mentoring experience highly preferred • Strong communication and influencing skills • Consultative approach and commitment to operational excellence • Active insurance license holders must terminate all existing appointments before onboarding and may not hold outside appointments during employment • Applicants with a resident producer license must formally surrender it when instructed by the licensing team • Authorization to work in the United States; the company does not sponsor work visas • Dedicated, private workspace free from distractions when working from home • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload
