📋 Description

• Travel to customers' homes for on-site property inspections • Investigate coverage and review property damage • Prepare estimates and settle claims promptly and efficiently • Handle virtual claims countrywide using platforms including Xactimate and ClaimsX Video Collaboration • Focus on water-loss claims • Provide compassionate, clear, and customer-focused claim service • Communicate with customers by phone, email, and video chat • Offer customers communication preferences and provide claim progress updates • Evaluate and negotiate settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants • Use estimate tools, job aids, and settlement platforms to resolve claims • Interpret policies to determine coverage • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the claims system • Work Monday through Friday during training, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM • After training, work 10 days on and 4 days off, 8–12 hours per day • Travel out of town up to 90% of the time • Attend a two-week training program in Dallas, Texas

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of experience writing water damage estimates preferred • Previous experience as a property adjuster preferred • Proficiency in estimating software such as Xactimate preferred • Strong focus on exceptional customer service • Ability to work independently, starting from home, and travel to different locations • Proactive problem-solving skills and positive attitude toward challenges • Excellent organization and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills • Willingness and ability to carry a 50-pound ladder and access up to a 6/12 pitch on a one- to two-story roof • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel • Must reside within 50 miles of an airport • Must terminate existing insurance appointments before onboarding and may not hold outside appointments during employment if currently holding an active insurance license • Applicants with a resident producer license must surrender it when instructed by the licensing team • May be required to obtain an adjuster and/or appraiser license within 60 days of hire, if applicable • Background investigation required • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload • Dedicated, private home workspace with appropriate desk and seating
